Early on I fell in love with the problem solving process of design. A keen eye and appreciation for detailed craftsmanship initially sparked my interest in this field. When I began training and practicing, the process of design: the research, creative thinking, ideation, trial and error, refinement and ultimately providing elegant solutions became my motivation. Very quickly I noticed the impact these design solutions can have on people and their lives. I was immediately hooked by the power design holds to improve lives, invoke change, and truly make a difference in the world. This is the reason why I create.
When I’m not designing, I can be found taking long walks with my dog Dakota, exploring new restaurants around Charlotte, working on a massive jigsaw puzzle, or daydreaming about where I should travel to next.
