Curious Brewing Company
BRANDING, SERVICE DESIGN, UX/UI, PACKAGING & PRINT DESIGN
Curious Brewing Company is where science meets art. It is a fictitious brewery I created that aims to push the boundaries of beer with their creative flavors and unique styles of brews. The brewery encourages community involvement when it comes to their beer creations. They host biweekly brew sessions where customers share feedback on the trial beer and can gain a better understanding of the craft. To complete this project I wrote a design brief, conducted research, set deadlines, designed, physical and digital prototypes, and created a brand manual.

PRODUCT PROTOTYPES
The flagship beers at Curious Brewing Company have their own branded serving glass. Each beer's assigned pattern is etched in the glass, giving them an exciting texture. The glass shape is dependent on the style of beer to enhance the flavors and the drinking experience for the customers. Hopius Melonae is an IPA, so it is served in a tulip glass with the watermelon texture. These texture patterns can also be seen on the corresponding beer cans.




COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT - "MYSTERIOUS BEERIOUS"
Mysterious Beerious is and biweekly experimental batch of beer based on community feedback and suggestions. When a customer orders Mysterious Beerious, they are able to fill out a taste profile survey where they analyze flavors, offer suggestions for the next batch, and choose a name for the beer. This process allows customers to become part of the brewery's creative process while they learn about how to distinguish and describe flavors in the craft of beer. If together they invent a delicious concoction, the brew may become a seasonal batch.

PROCESS WORK
I made mind maps, morphological matrixes, ideations, and iterations in order to get to my final logo design. I also sketched out ideations for can designs and mapped out the basic concept for the flavor profile survey.
